Heavenly Music

Cynthia and the First Strings Trio provided music for my son's wedding ceremony in Colorado Springs, and her music was heavenly!  From giving recommendations for selections to the actual performance, it was a dream working with Cynthia.   We would recommend her highly for any type of performance.

One of my favorites TONIGHT

Happy Valentine's Day!

The Colorado Springs Philharmonic will make your evening tonight!   We'll be playing:

Rachmaninoff Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op. 43
Liszt Totentanz, S. 126
Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op. 74, Pathétique

and our pianist is AMAZING!!!   Conrad Tao.   He's 19 years old (started playing piano at 2 years of age), and I can't believe how awesome his ability is!   You'll love the concert!  Hope to see you there.   Two more shows Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon, too.

Christmas Eve Services

6:30 and 10:30 pm services at Grace Episcopal will bring the Spirit of the Season to the front.   A 9-piece string ensemble will play Corelli, Handel and Vaughan Williams during the prelude and will continue with Schubert's Mass in G with choir and organ, plus Christmas Carols and hymns.   The 'midnight' (10:30) service is perfectly complete with pro-cessing robed choir and frankinscence.   My favorite of the whole year!

Philharmonic Christmas

Chorale and Full Orchestra will delight your ears and eyes for the Annual Christmas Concert on Sunday Dec. 22nd at 2:30 PM in the Pikes Peak Center.

Broadmoor Waltz Club

The beautiful Christmas Ball in the formal Main Ballroom is a feast for sore eyes...the ball gowns and formal tuxedo's adorning the talented, choreographed dancers are stunning!   The music is pretty cool, too.   Our little group (Cynthia's Broadmoor Waltz Club Combo) plays all types of music for the traditional waltzes and the 'free dances'.   It's fun to watch from the Pompeii room...and, you might catch a glimpse of our former keyboard player, Sandi Shroads, dancing with her husband instead of playing the piano on stage.   How fun is that?!?!

Christmas JOY at the Pikes Peak Center

First Presbyterian offers their wonderful holiday concert twice on Sunday afternoon and evening....complete with adult choir, children's choir, handbells, big band and full orchestra.   Cynthia is sitting 2nd chair with her dad Donald Robinson....don't miss his solo in Mannheim Steamroller's Stille Nacht!

FOC Lutheran Lessons & Carols

A double string quartet for two morning services on Baptist Road...a beautiful collection of readings and hymns for the season, including a prelude of an excellent and moving arrangement of Ralph Vaughan William's Theme by Thomas Tallis.   Marcus Profant will share an incredible arrangement of Sweet Little Jesus Boy, piano and voice.

First Methodist Messiah

Cynthia and her friends play the orchestral part of this fantastic production of Handel's Messiah, with a glorious Hallelujah Chorus finale.   Only one concert at 5:00 pm...don't miss it!
